Look after your skin in Winter

Here in the UK, the clocks went back last weekend, which means we have had a week of dark evenings.I must admit I am possibly in the minority because I enjoy curling up on the sofa with a good book with the darkness closing in. My soul might like it, but I know that my skin is going to suffer if I don’t look after it, so it is in the Winter months that I truly up my skin care routine, and I am going to let you into my secrets, because they are too good to keep to myself.

Models make it look oh so easy, with their radiant complexion, but they have a skin care and make up routine that they stick to. If like me you had no training in skin care, then let me invite you to come with me on a journey of discovery, as I tell you about the benefits of a good skin care routine, before we even get to put any make-up on.

The first step in any routine is to use a good cleanser at the end of the day, before you go to bed. Dirt and grime accumulates on the skin and needs to be removed. I have found the cleanser by Proto-col to be excellent for even the most sensitive of skins, like mine.
